Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains how Bombyy processes and delivers your orders. By placing an order on our website, you agree to this Shipping Policy.

1. Where We Ship
We ship across India to all pin codes serviceable by our logistics partners. At checkout, enter your pin code to check whether delivery, and Cash on Delivery (COD), is available at your location. We currently do not ship outside India.

2. Order Processing Time

• Prepaid orders: Dispatched within 24 hours of the order being placed.
• Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: After 24 hours of the order being placed, we call you to confirm the order, and the order is shipped only after confirmation. If you do not answer, we will call again the next day, and once more the day after. If we still cannot reach you, the order will be cancelled.

3. Delivery Time
Delivery time depends on the payment method you choose and your location:

• Prepaid orders (Express Shipping): Delivered in 2 to 4 days, depending on your location. Express Shipping is available on prepaid orders only.
• Cash on Delivery orders: Delivered in 4 to 5 working days in metro cities, and 6 to 7 working days in other locations, from the date the order is placed.

These timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Delivery can be affected by courier delays, weather, public holidays, strikes, local restrictions, or other events beyond our control.

4. Shipping Charges

• Prepaid orders: Free shipping, plus 10% off on your order.
• Cash on Delivery orders: An extra ₹200 COD charge applies per order. This is a cash handling charge, as we have to pay the courier partner for collecting cash on delivery.

All charges are shown at checkout before you place your order.

5. Order Tracking
After your order is dispatched, we will send you a tracking link or tracking number by email, SMS or WhatsApp. You can use it to follow your shipment on our courier partner’s website. Tracking updates may take some time to appear after dispatch.

6. Delivery Address and Contact Details
Please make sure your delivery address, pin code and mobile number are complete and correct. Our courier partners may call you before delivery, so please keep your phone reachable.

We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by an incorrect or incomplete address, a wrong pin code, or an unreachable phone number. We may not be able to change the address once an order has been dispatched.

7. Delivery Attempts
When your order is out for delivery, the delivery agent will call you. If the call is not answered, the delivery attempt cannot be made. After 3 delivery attempts, the shipment is returned to us (RTO, or Return to Origin).

For COD orders, please keep the exact payable amount ready at the time of delivery. If you repeatedly refuse COD orders, we may restrict COD for future orders from you.

8. Delays Beyond Our Control
Bombyy is not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by events outside our control, including natural calamities, courier or logistics disruptions, government restrictions, strikes, or technical issues. We will do our best to keep you updated and help resolve the situation.

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.

COD shipments may sometimes take longer because of delivery coordination, failed attempts, or return-related complications. We generally allow 4 working days for COD orders to account for possible delays.

Prepaid orders can move through processing without waiting for payment collection. Actual delivery dates depend on the courier service and your location.
